About the artist
For the collage pieces of her series “People/Animals/Gravity”, Haselsteiner combines old sports photos with images of nature. Characters are taken out of more traditional contexts, to create dream-like scenes, such as flying on air mattresses and jumping into landscapes. The fantastic scenery will plunge the observer into a creative day-dream.
