Description

Manizeh Nezhad is an Iranian printmaker. Nezhad’s prints take us into a secret garden where various memories fade into each other. The protagonist is a child, and the story told seems to be one of pain and longing. The soft grayscale images Nezhad composes using etching technique are superimposed with strong textural marks, as if the memory represented is being eaten away by rough black texture.
