“Mashi & Mashianeh II”, Nazli (IR) SOLD

Nazli is an Iranian artist, living in the US. She is a children’s books author and illustrator.

The characters Nazli presents to us are Mashi and Mashianeh, the first man and woman in Persian mythology. She takes up these mythological ancient themes into current times, unafraid of stripping the characters off details in order to maintain simplicity of form, and allowing thus to focus on their narrative.
