German artist Catrin Wechler masters photography and reworks specific materials like acrylic glass and aluminum dibond. Most of her artworks picture large human groups in a natural setting, such as along a shore or at the beach. Here, the human figures are not shown with particular features and are always small in comparison to nature. Standing in front of her works, the observer is led to think about what pushes all of us to venture out in the world.
