Description
Alexandre Liberato (PO)
The Portuguese artist Alexandre Liberato creates highly harmonious artworks through mixed techniques, combining photo print elements and colorful gouache interventions, usually in iridescent blue tones. The pictures’ opposing sides develop symmetrically: human body parts at one end, abstract or architectural structures at the other. Thus, abstraction meets reality. These two dimensions coexist and feed off of each other, suggesting that there is always a hidden truth that does not abide by the laws of the physical, but of the mental world.
