Introducing Benedicte Ambjerg…
Benedicte Ambjerg, a Danish artist, crafts figurative gouaches that transport viewers to a dreamlike realm. Her realistic female figures are set against imaginary backdrops, and her soft palette of pinks and blues imbues her works with a hypnotic, spiritual aura.
These serene female characters, depicted with calm expressions and bathed in soft light, exist between reality and fantasy. The surreal background elements, featuring strange and fantastical creatures, add to the ethereal atmosphere and simplicity of the compositions. Ambjerg's art invites viewers, particularly younger audiences, into a state of contemplation and introspection.

Ved hjælp af printteknikker leger Skudera med komposition og kombinerer modsatrettede sort-hvide fotografier på lærred. Hoveder adskilles fra kroppe, figurer adskilles og splejses sammen igen, hvilket skaber en uhyggelig og spændende effekt for beskueren. Forskellige scener lægges oven på hinanden og skaber et helt nyt multibillede. Hendes motiver brydes og skilles ad, hvilket giver en næsten kubistisk stemning.

Marina Skepner bruger olie til at ætse sine mørke og ildevarslende fabler om ungdommelig ensomhed på papir.
