“Shoes in the sea (15)”, Ellen Rouppe (NL) | ELRO 139/1121/4

Ellen Rouppe is a Dutch artist living in Paris. She has developed her work by experimenting with different graphic techniques but keeping to one matter of subject: the ocean. She seems to take interest in this vast subject due to its capacity for change, flow and renewal. The ocean holds both living and inanimate objects, some lost, some waiting to be found. To Rouppe, It’s textures, light and mysteries represent endless possibilities to explore the visual language.
